Can't use seaweed, but saw this instead.....

Aloe Vera is fine in pregnancy of horses, although I wouldn't give it without good reason (as with anything during pregnancy)but why do you feel the need to give it?

I use a supplements, have never tried a balancer. All my horses are on a vit/min supplement and they look good on it. Our grass is good, but I only feed hay, chop and a small amount of hifi cubes - not the recommended amount.

Multi vit/min supplement should be enough

I'd avoid it. I'd opt for a supplement specifically for breeding stock. It'll be safe and you'll know it will be providing what your mare needs during this important time. There are a few on the market.
