cant work out what it is can anyone help?

hi all well basicly my gelding has developed a large cluster of what i can only describe as barnicle looking things in his right eye stretching across his pupil i must admit im a bit worried have called the vet and he is coming out on monda,

but it doesnt seem soon enough for me lol although i no its not an emergancy i just wanna no what it is

does anyone have any experiance of a similar thing he is 14yrs old so im sure this isnt totaly abnormal thank all xx

Are they on the surface of the eye or inside it. If inside it, could it not be corpora nigra (google image it) which is perfectly normal!

heya just looked at loads of pictures of this and doesnt seem to be the same its not a large blob like thing (god i should have been a vet) lol its more like loads of liitle spikey crystal things all grouped together over the pupil hence the barnicle comparrsion hmmm im confuessed but thanks for that information i do hope it is that although im going to look a right numpty infornt of the vet hahah

No you are definitely doing the right thing getting the vet out - I don't think you can ever take a risk when it comes to eyes!

ok so just been down to see my boy and deff isnt doenst look like what we thought but no one i speak seems to no what it could be plase guys some more advice?
