Cantered yesterday for the first time since my accident.

I bought my mare in Aug last year and lost my balance while cantering and came off in Nov and recieved an unstable fracture to my shin bone and ankle. Im still in the process of healing but am suffering from a few confidence issues now regarding my riding.
Last week I had the saddler out who told me that my previous saddle that came with my mare when I bought her 6 months ago was so badly fitted no wonder I couldnt keep my balance and came off, not only did it slip under her belly all the time it also rocked backwards and forwards. Anyway to cut a long story short I had a new saddle fitted last Tues and its fab! Yesterday I cantered for the first time since my accident and I loved it! Saddle stayed in place and I stayed on and I cant stop smiling now.

Well done!!! No one can stay on with the saddle slipping sideways so now that you have your nice, new, well fitting saddle you can have loads of fun and no problems!
