cantering

try keeping alot of inside leg on him and possibly try a different bit. also try using a schooling whip and tap him on his bum when he starts to lean

Transitions and lots of them don’t allow his canter to get to long and onto the forehand so short spurts of canter then trot them canter again and you will find that in time you can canter for longer before you loose his front end.

Also pole work can help.

It is hard for a horse to carry themselves, if he is nice and light in trot then you are ready to work on the canter if he finds carrying himself in trot hard then you need to work on his strength over his back so that he can work from behind and carry his weight on hind leg.

I really think transitions are the key.
