Hi, does anyone know what the above yard is like, i have been recommended it by a friend, ive seen the website and it looks lovely, is there good hacking, or can you only hack around the farm itself ??????? thanks
I was stabled there last year and the yard itself is lovely, the hacking is great and having the path around the farm is fab for cool downs and quick rides out. The only downside I found was the school was down a steep gravel hill away from the stables which got slippery in bad weather/snow and was very very dark in the winter as there was no lights and the school lights were on a generator so only one school could be used at a time (not that it was a problem as I was only the person ever there in the evenings!) and it was petrol run so was always dying on me! Winter was moonlight riding at least once a week!
I left just before the owners took it back as managers so not sure what its like on a day to day basis but I have heard the turnout can be restricted- I only know one person left there now so cant comment on that! They are running clinics and informal shows there now which is good
Hi
We have 365 day turnout and fantastic grazing
We have also made improvements to the lighting down to the schools!
We host many clinics and have an unaffiliated dressage series with championship
Thanks
