After several days of the "puppies" attempting to escape from the boot they have finally discovered that the dog guard is merely wedged between floor and roof of the car and pulled it ontop of them selves. OH then went to fix it and snapped the leg off one side (he dosent know how it "just happened"). We now have the top bit tied to the head rests of the back seat to keep them in, so HELP, i need a very intelligent EBT proof coupled with a slightly dumb dosent know his own strength mastif x proof dog guard for my estate car!

Can you check whether your make of car do one. My BMW guard hooks into fitter in the roof, then bolts at the base of the windows so cannot move.
Failing that invest in a dog crate specifically for your car... There was a fab (very good make) one on eBayast week

Thats brilliant thanks, said EBT discovered today that the top of the guard didnt quite meet the roof as it was attached to the headrests and duly climbed through the gap using the guard as a ladder. Just pleased Obi couldnt follow suit!
