I normally just have an old piece of carpet and a rug in the back of the car for my lab but after having it professionally cleaned (the car not the lab) I am hoping that the car might stay clean for a while. I have been looking at some boot liners on Amazon but can't work out which one would be best.

She leans against the wheel arches with her bum and rests her head over the back seat so I am trying to find something which protects those areas and keeps those pesky chocolate coloured hairs at bay.

What do you all use? My car is a focus if that helps.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

There is a custom fit boot liner for the Focus, my ma has one. She also used one of those car hammock things. I have a tarp down, then a piece of carpet and then the crate on top of that and the car is still a kip :o

I made one for a mate for his 4x4 he had at the time out of cordura (outdoor rug material which I had in stock then) it covered all of the back and top of the back seat, the sides and folded out over the back bumper.
Cost about £15 in materials but was as tough as old boots and waterproof.
Anyone with sewing machine skills, a bit of imagination and a sewing machine with a stout needle can make one, Oz :)

why not get some of this to stick to the carpet on the sides and boot then use a liner fron H8lfords on the floor on top of packexe. This is gr8 stuff and water proof I brought mine for the caravan and use in the house, its lasted me 8 years so far (the new roll i mean)

Ditto buy the material. I've just made a padded floor liner for the back of my L200 using waterproof very strong material for £17. Way cheaper than buying two giant dog beds:D (It's lasted two whole days now :D)
