I am doing a car boot sale tomorrow to declutter before moving house. I have never been to one before in my whole life, and I'm going it alone so I'm a bit clueless.

I have quite a bit of horsey stuff, and it's in a rural horsey area so hoping I might get rid of it.

Question is what do I expect to charge/get for:
*A pair of size 5 long leather Regent boots sort of showing/hunting style with leather garters (worn once & bliimin' crippled me!!!)
*A brand new pair of bright purple Shires travelling boots, cob size
* A prolite pad, worn a few times
* A selection of bits, including a rubber cheltenham gag with cheekpieces

There's loads of other stuff, bits of bridles, martingales, breastplates, girths etc etc etc which I don't expect to get much for. I was just wondering how much is realistic to expect for the above.

Thanks in advance

i am doing one tomorrow as well, the only thing i say is that people do not to pay alot, you have to decide, do you want take it home or do you want to get rid of it.

rather than do a normal car boot, do and equestrian one, you are more likely to get more money as they are all like minded people, where are you in the country ?let me know I will see if there are any near you

I have posted about the Broomfield college one, I am doing that also, looks like a good day out, starts at 11, if you are selling tun up at 10.30 , but use the equestrian centre entrance

I got £25 for my pair of regent jodphur boots on ebay and they were only worn a few times so maybe a bit more than that?

I'm in County Durham. I did see the Derby one, but a bit gutted that it's so far away.

I am in a very horsey area, hence I'm selling tons of horsey books etc. I was thinking maybe £10 for the boots but even that may be too steep for a car boot? I guess I could take them and if they didn't go, put them on ebay (though to be honest I can't be bothered with the hassle of ebay).

I sold my long Regents for £30 at a 2nd hand stall at the local riding club!
£10 Sounds very low, you dont want to give them away!!
