Car gate costs

What make and model of car do you have? They frequently come up for sale second hand, try browsing the Agilitynet fleamarket page and agility pages on FB. I got a Barjo tailgate and rear seat guard for £150 the set, would have been £225 and £140 each to buy new.

Still got the Micra, and still can't get a crate to fit it and Spud:rolleyes: Will keep a lookout for Barjo on those sites, they do one that would fit but it costs £250, which I think is rather a lot, personally. We do have a friend whose dad could probably make one, but the poor bloke is currently is hospital after a minor heart attack so for obvious reasons we can't really ask him at the moment!

Thanks Blackcob! Sadly the crates won't fit PBS, the ones with enough height for Spud are too deep for the boot.:( Thank you for looking though:)

My flatcoat can get out of my friends hamster basket. One quick head barge and the door flys open!!!! I had my cages made to fit by Steve tubb of daventry. They are strong, rattle free and have escape doors too, highly recommended

I have had 3 MMG tailgates over the years, they are slightly cheaper than Barjo etc and I have found the very good. I also agree with blackcob that you can often find tailgates at bargain prices on agilitynet fleamarket.

I had mine made to measure by my agility trainer. I would highly recomend him. He did a great job, brilliant follow up and much cheaper than a manufactured one.
I don't know what area of the country you are in, but I know some people have left their car/van with him for a week whilst he does it.
As I live close he did it over 3 or 4 Friday afternoons.
I have a Vauxhall Zaffira.
If you are interested in finding out more I can PM his name and number.
