I have 2 dogs, one is fine in the car and the other is sick within half an hour of getting in.
Have tried not feeding that morning but she is still sick albeit just slimy frothy stuff (mmm, nice)
Any ideas or can I get some tablets from the vet or something?
Oh, she loves getting in the vehicle, she sits in it whenever she gets chance so I dont think it is nerves more hasnt got the stomach for it maybe?
 
I have a dog who is now 9 and he has never travelled is sick within 100 yards, have tried everything and have not found a cure so he doesn't get to go in the car apart from the vets which is not good as he is covered in vomit by the time we get there, its only 4 miles.

Good luck I know some people use childrens travel sickness tablets.
 
My lad used to be the same (we've had him from 14 weeks). The way that worked best for us was to sit him on the front seat with the windows open far enough for a draught and the cold air blowing on him. We had a bag open in the footwell so if we did see any signs of him being sick we could pull over and direct his head! It took us about 2 months and he does occasionally slobber but not half as bad as he did! He now travels in the boot with his sister. He has always jumped in the car willingly so its not that he was scared of it either but like yours probably doesn't/didn't have the stomach for it. We tried not feeding before traveling, using a crate and ginger travel sickness tablets but none of these worked. Hope you find something to help!

I have tried short trips and still the same.
She likes to look out of the window and the last time I had her sat on my knee she was sick all down the side of the seat and what a nightmare to clean!
She goes in the back, can see out and seems happy enough.
Maybe have to have a word with the vet and see if he can recommend some tablets or something as it seems unfair to take her out in the car but she loves going to the beach and places.

Try polo mints or ginger both are good anti sickness, also the vets are now doing a new med thats is a good anti sickness for travelling called serenia (sp) forgive me if thats spelt wrong, we are stocking it, but I have not yet laid eyes on it
