Hello

I have bought a lovely second hand 510 Ifor Williams which I want to keep in good condition. I have looked at the Ifor covers and they are very expensive and I cannot find a second hand one. Caravan covers are much cheaper and I was just wondering if anyone out there had experience of using one and would they recommend it??

Many thanks indeed.

Yes we use one for our 505 and although it makes the trailer look like a big elephant it covers it fine. It has straps that wrap round the bottom and there is a zip on one side that conveniently is in the same place as the jockey door. You might find with the 510 it doesnt cover the wheels.

Thanks for that, I had a look at the dimensions and I did think that a caravan cover wouldbe fine but lacks height, but it is no biggie. The ifor trailer covers are just so expensive. Thank you very much for getting back to me, I think I will just go ahead and buy one!

Glad I could help. I wish I could tell you the make of ours but my OH got it after nearly passing out at the cost of IW ones and I think he got it off ebay... he is away at the mo so cant get a quick answer...

I think I know the one you are talking about as I have seen it on ebay and it has a zip. It has a free hitch cover too. Not bad for 60 pounds. Thanks again

hey, that would be perfect.. I couldn't see any before on ebay and the price is right(ifor williams covers are over 300 pounds!). Excellent. Will look into this further, many thanks indeed!!
