i am living quite close to cardiff riding school & I was just wondering as to whether anyone had any opinions on the place? I am BHS stage 3/4 level & just plan on keeping riding until going back to Ireland to do the actual exams? I know it is BHS approved etc but I have heard nothing else about the place, so any experiences good or bad would be appreciated?

Cardiff Riding School is great.

However, if you fancy a more challenging environment then I would suggest you contact Ally Brown at Argae House Stables St Andrews Major / Tel: 029 2051 5546.

Caerphilly riding school are ok teach pony club standard flatwork and jumping..that's how I'd rate it anyway lol I take mine there for the jumping lessons now and then - lovely indoor arena! I go somewhere else for the flatwork
