Care of hounds

For part of my college work I have to evaluate the use of animals in different situations, whether it be in the media, agricultural etc and for sport/leisure I am doing fox hunting, in particular the hounds.

I would be grateful if people could tell me all about the role the hounds play, their care, welfare, relationship with humans etc

Why dont you arrange a visit to the kennels and maybe go out on foot for a morning hunting

Unfortunately I just don't have the time, otherwise I would

maybe give them a call then. They would be the best people to talk to or maybe have a chat to someone that does pupping walking etc.

One obvious thing though is that they must be kept fit and i would say are given the best quality meat from the animals that come in for disposal

I have also phoned some of the hunt kennels from NI, only got through to two, one which gave me lots of info and one who requested I write to them as they are under a lot of attack at the minute which I can understand why they want it in writing, so going to write to them today. The man I spoke to was very apologetic that he couldn't give me the information.
