Hi guys,

Washacking with a friend yesterday and she was saying she saw At Home with Carl Hester and he was wearing these gorgeous brown elegant riding boots, and did I know what they were and where to get them?

I haven't a clue.....do any of you guys know?

Thanks! :)

they are Konig boots, Also Olivia Oakley who worked at Carls also has the Konig brown boots, the best price I found was www.Freedom Dressage.co.uk..as they did not charge as much for the colour or size alterations as all the rest do..... but you need to call them and they will advise if you are a standard fit....If you live in the North of England they have a fab showroom with Konigs in to try..sorry just seen you are in Ireland....you can get the brown ones from £380.00 from freedom

that will be for the Komet though, which is the budget boot and i found very uncomfortable to break in and made my knees and ankles bleed for weeks.
my show boots are the grandgester model and in the exact same size were comfy from day 1 so IMO the price saved on the Komets is not worth it.

Carl is wearing the Sir model, which is the most expensive but iv heard an even better fit than the Grandgester.

My komets are dead now, have worked hard for 3 years, and i will be replacing them with some brown Grandgesters when i get my bonus from work, cant be bothered with the pain again!

Komet are not the budget range the favorite are that which i have found so comfortable and so have my friends . The komet are the mid range and quite a few of my friend who are proffessional riders have these and love them for every day riding.....the Grandgesters are towards the top end but most of the people i know have found these to be the hardest to break in!!!
