help. my loan cob has been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome near fore. slight swelling at top of tendon and bubble of swelling - little larger than windgall above and to the side of knee. 2 to 3 10ths lame. full of life very fit and showing no signs of discomfort when bouncing around. been recogmended box rest but cannot keep him in full time as he has previously demolished stable enough to walk through to next door. always popular to ones livery yard owners. in at night and in small area during day on his own where he can see others . will play all day with other horses if has the oppotunity. vet reccommends rest till january then we see about next step. Has any one had experience of this? And what does the future hold? As always taken over a year of being with us to get to stage of fitness, schooling and improve behaviour and so nice to at last have a horse we can enter even low level events and not feel we should have stayed at home! Any one any experience of this.? There is some consolation in that appears to be tendon sheath inflamation and not tendon itself. heres hoping. beachy.
