I would be very interested to know which make of harness you use and why.

Buying harness is a bit of a minefield, I would love a set of English leather, but can't justify the expense for rattling around the fields. I have a set of Zilco Classic (single), I didn't think it was flexible enough in cold weather and wanted leather, thinking that it would be nicer to use. Bought Ideal, but find it quite heavy and stiff.

Glass of Shiraz, anyone?

I use a zilco classic and love it!
I stared off with leather but i wanted something that needed less looking after but was smart enough for shows. I saved up and purchased a piece of haremss a month :)

Ive never found it unflexible !

My marathon and everyday harness is Zilco classic with empathy collar. My dressage harness is German made brown leather. FCs harness is equifor euro which might be a good compromise? We also have tedex, van de heuval both synthetic and leather, rene synthetic and hartland patent leather if you have any Qs.
Tbh all the other makes are softer than Zilco in the cold but Zilco has a fab record.
