Carrot Cake...

I know this might sound really sad but it's my little mans 2nd birthday in August and i wanted to make him a yummy treat...but i might leave the candle!!!

I know he doesn't know it's his birthday but not only is he the big 2 but i would have owned him for 1 year...double celebration.

I was wondering if anyone had any recipes for horse treats like a carrot cake or he likes those heart treats (can't remember what they are called) but he's not keen on mint?!!?

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

At christmas I take their normal feed, add treacle or such like to bind it together so i can shape it into a cake and decorate with carrots etc. They love it!!! And obviously, we're all told of the perils of sudden changes in diet, so I use this as its all stuff they're used to but tastier without too much change!
