Cars left at stables , beware!

There is a spate of breakins of cars near us at the moment. They are smashing windows of cars and taking bags. These stables are on single track roads with no quick get away but they haven't been caught yet. They are using a blue car and it is a group of young men. These incidents are around NEC area of the West Midlands. Lock your handbags in your boot if going out for a ride.

probably best to lock them in the tackroom - thieves tend to go for the boot - which is what they did with mine...

We had that problem last year in our area in Hants. Two cars at my yard were broken into and oddly enough both were followed (we think) from the local Post Office where money had been withdrawn. One of the women had her families passports taken as well. Not good.

One lot were caught and prosecuted - Eastern Europeans - and the second lot were probably the same as the person who had her stuff nicked remembers seeing them in the PO
