So now LACS are objecting to hunts meeting in towns because the horses **** on the road and obstruct traffic.

Surely horse riders, cyclists and pedestrians should have as much right to use the public highways as car drivers.

Is it really right that town councils should have the power to ban this? Especially if it only happens on one day of the year.

As for gridlock - surely almost all gridlock in our towns and cities is caused by other cars not hunts.

PMSL at this comment!!! Brilliant!

"couldn't agree more about the effect of town meets on urban life - but it isn't the horses' fault that their digestive systems act up in an area where this is a nuisance and hazard. Hunt horses lead a miserable life as browbeaten four-legged sports equipment and always get agitated - not "keen to go" - in a meet situation, and should we stage killing rituals at a time of Christian festival? The police would be better able to deal with emergencies, yobs causing trouble and vandalism, knife and gun incidents etc. if they did not have this menace affecting traffic and public use of the town centre."

Badger is not my horse he’s a piece of browbeaten four-legged sports equipment! I can understand why people are against hunting – but is there really any need to talk so much bollox???

ye that ne made me laugh id love them to sit on our browbeaten pieces of sports equipment and then expect them to say they are not "keen to go". and as for a miserable life they get treated like kings or mine does anyway he goes short of nothing. at the end of the day if i dont look after him day to day why would he look after me on hunting days.
