Cart wheel bits...any one riden in one!!

my friend is having a bit of a prob with her x-race horse.."he just wants to go!". I have read lots lately about bits..and the cart wheel bit keeps coming up...any one rode in one yet!!

Yep, hunted one of my mares last year in one and was good, had control and stopped when I wanted. I have the french link one.

they are strange, but give a nice contact and improved brakes..

Yes - I have a nathe one. I didn't notice anything remarkable about it, but I had good enough brakes.
