I have on a horse with hock problems. It did improve him in the short term, but lasting improvement came from medicating the joint.

I used it in conjunction with having the joints medicated with some sucess, cartrophen worked better on her than adequan

Bugger, really? Just finished a course of Adequan 
Cartrophen isn't licensed for use on horses in the UK, tho, but I know some vets use it.

We tried adequan first, no real change, cartrophen did help and she responded better to it, your horse might have responded well to the adequan

He's trotted up 1/10ths lame as opposed to 6/10ths today, but that could be the rest, not the Adequan.
