Cartrophen vet treatment for OCD?

Hi, I have just had my horse diagnosed with ocd of her shoulder and will be giving her second dose of cartrophen tomorrow. She has her third dose next week. She has also had corticosteroids and hyaluronic acid injection into the affected shoulder. What is happening with your horse?
 
I tried it for arthritis in my horse but sadly it made no difference. The vet let me inject it which save the callout charges.
