Cartrophen

My 23 yr old is showing mild arthritis and the vet suggested Cartrophen. Is it correct that they have 4 vials initially over 4 weeks then monthly thereafter????

The 4 over a month is definitely the loading dose but then it depends. I got no response in that first month so went no further but a friend injects 1 x 6 months

Alf had one weekly for a month, and is now on 1 a month. Vet said it either works beautifully, or not at all. Luckily, it seems to be working well on Alf - although I'm not entirely sure I like the new improved Alf, as I've found myself hanging off the side of him a few times recently!

Try medical grade glucosamine. Must be 99% pure. My vet said Cartrophen or the glucosesamone so I’m doing the glucosamine.
