Probably not the right place but this is the only forum I use. We have just had a holiday in the USA and got caught up in the televised trial of Casey Anthony. I was left gobsmaked that they found her not guilt of murder.
Her 2 year old went missing they did not report it for 6MONTHS!! She was found in the woods by the house with 3 lots of duck tape over her mouth and they found her NOT GUILTY!!
She was released yesterday, it beggers belielf.

I have just come back from living in Florida while doing research and this case was all over the news! I couldnt believe she was released, but I feel it must have been on techinicallities as many of the jurors have spoken about how they thought she was guilty. She was charged with lying to the police and got given time served.

if you google it, you get the full evidence etc etc, i stopped reading when it got to the trial as i knew the outcome. so bl**dy sad, poor little girl and surely the mother should be in hospital? she tookpolice to her 'office of work' and then confirmed that she had been fired years before? serious mental health issue surely or just a big con? end of day a little girl lost her life unncessarily

Trust me when i say it has been on the news not just in orlando but all over the country, they are calling it the biggest case since O.J. I think nearly two thirds or more people in the country are saying she is guilty.. She was not released on any technicalities it was that the jurors didnt think the prosecution team showed them evidence that she commited any of the serious crimes!!! They convicted her of 4 cases of lying to law enforcement and had to serve another week or so due to time served.
She was released on sunday.

That is how I got caught up in it Winslow we were in Alaska and Seattle and several stations had the trial live. As we only caught the last 6 days I wondered what I had missed for them to give a not guilty verdict. The only thing I can think is how did they chose Casey I supose it could have been any family member. Just horrible.
