Yes I know this is AAD, but I am having problems with Rox and cats.
Where we live we very rarely see cat's but when she does she likes to try and have a sniff and will then happily ignore them. We are staying at my parents at the moment whilst hubby is away with work so I don't have to commute to work. But on Thursday my dad walked her in the evening for me and apparantly Rox was her usual sniffy self around gates when a cat from nowhere came out and attacked her. She has a very scratches on top of head and her face, nothing serious but I have bathed them just to be sure.
Today I walked her and again she has been attacked by a different cat that proceeded to follow us for approx 500 metres and continue trying to attack her! On the way back I had no choice but go past this garden again but crossed the road before we got to it so as not provoke the cat but to no joy it's run across the road for round 2!
What can I do? Rox is so gentle she wont snap or growl back but I'm obviously concerned now that cat's are going to keep going for her
Sorry this has turned into a ramble, and I can honestly say this is not a wind up. I wish it was but it isn't
