He worked out that the square toilets in our new house would allow him to sit in them to use as a litter tray instead of bothering to go outside! I've also only just realised that his eyes haven't turned green and he's a year old, so hopefully they won't. I've been waiting all my life for an amber eyed cat ?

Omg! The little genius.

I've always wanted go train a cat to use a toilet, but never got around to it. Mine would not come to the conclusion on their own.

This is brilliant! Ours has only just started to consent to a normal litter tray ? at the age of 14 so I think I’m out of luck.
what a clever cat you have, and he’s gorgeous. Same colour as ours, yours has more brain cells apparently!

Oh wow, he’s a super star figuring that out. I dream of not having litter trays around! Can he flush? ?

There was a story from a few years ago about a man who couldn't understand why his water bills were so high. He had plumber in searching for leaks, dug up the garden to inspect the pipe from the street to his house... nothing.

Then one day, he stayed home from work to find that his cat spent the day pressing on the flush handle and then watching the swirling water going down the bowl.

It seems to be a common pastime, from the number of videos on YouTube. Here's one.

How funny!!

What a clever boy.

Mine would just fall in… I have to leave the lid down as she has had a few near misses when jumping up!

That’s a very clever cat, would you rent him out so he can demonstrate to other cats? ?

I’d love to train my ginger and white boy to use the toilet but he seems to have a timeshare on a single brain cell so doesn’t get it very often, and he also thinks the toilet water is delicious and perfect for drinking so we have to keep the lid down ?.

My Tigga would drink out of the loo if we left the lid up ?

Oh my that is hilarious. Can you also imagine being in the house alone one night and hearing the toilet flush ?

I have your permission to share with friends?? It’s fine if no xx

Ah, DirectorFury, that explains where the brain cell goes when my ginger and white cat hasn't got it ?

Clever cat using the toilet, think I'd be freaked out by random poos though.
