We are currently looking at all our bills and reducing them were we can. We currently pay £25 per months for both our cats to be insured. To be honest im not really sure what they are covered for, but does anyone get cat insurance for less?

They are both 8 now (been insured with the same company since kittens) and are both moggy cats that we got from a rescue.

I have two cats, same as yours by the sounds of it and I pay £3.47 for each of them per month with Tesco. Covered for accident and illness with £100 excess. They do pay out too, one of ours got bitten by a fox and his bite got all septic and he got blood poisoning, which they paid out for when the bill was £540.

we've just got a quote and it comes to, just short of £15 for them both with £100 excess, how did you manage to get it for £3.47 each?

Sorry - only just seen this. I don't know - we took it out about 6 years ago. Might have gone up now for new customers but ours has stayed the same. I get 20% discount as I work for the police and I know they did discount for NHS/Police/Fire/Army etc, not sure if they still do but it made it cheaper. Good insurance though as the vets didn't have a problem with getting the money from them direct, rather than us laying out for it first and they don't do that if it's a difficult company to claim from.
