Cat Question!

Hi Everyone,

I have the neighbour's cats which insist on coming into my garden and crapping all over the place which I'm finding very, very annoying and disgusting.

I have 2 whippets, but of course aren't outside when the cats come into the garden which I think is during the night and very early morning.

Short of physically sorting them out (hosepipe over them etc), will these sonic things affect the dogs too, because the majority of ones that I've seen say "dog/cat/fox" etc, but I don't want my dogs to be affected...

Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance!

No idea. Could you ask the neighbours to move it once a day? Mine doesn't go far & comes in to use the litter tray, but have told neighbours if she ever does poo in their gardens to let me know & I'll clean it up.

Citrus discourages them as does gorse clippings spread where they dig.

What about a motion sensor water squirter? Could turn off when dogs out (dunno if it works in the dark though). Have included a link as an example, though have never used one myself, I know others that have.
