I'm going away for a few days next month so kitties will be going on their holibobs to my mums house, do you think it would be ok to let them outside at her house? They both lived there before I moved into my own place and would be familiar with their surroundings. They are not indoor cats at all and I know they would hate being stuck indoors while I'm away, plus my Bengal x would just howl non stop.

I wouldn't personally. Can they not stay at your house and mum go round and feed them? Leave the garage or shed or something open maybe.

I would not IMO as it is not their home now and they may go wandering or may try find their way home, and if they get sick you your mum wont find them.

We put ours in a pen as it safer to feed and keep checks on, than let them wander round here and someone feeding them.
