ok here is the problem.
I have a 6 yo cat -male - desexed. About 1 year ago he had a bout of cat cystitis. He was having real difficulty peeing.
Took him to the vet and 3 day later (350 uk pounds ) lighter in the wallet I was told that what he had was a blockage at the end his w***y and that he would probably suffer from this for the rest of his life.
The cat in question is eating fine - nice coat and does not seem to be in any pain however he is now peeing what amounts to blood coloured urine. He is going to the vets tommorow but I just wondered if any one has come across this before - I can't realistically afford to do this every 3-4 months anymore and I wondered if the kindest thing was to put him to self but I keep telling myself that despite all this he is still eating, drinking everything that is put in front of him.
Any thoughts/advice appreciated.
