Anyone had any experience with this? Bizarrely we suggested to the vet it could benefit given his symptoms (having had a horse with it). Turns out we're right but it is very rare in cats and even the vet is having to research for treatment options!
So, has anyone treated a cat for this?
I used Hormonise for me horse which I think helped a bit but they don't mention cats so am not sure if safe to use!

I have never seen a cat with cushings, however from what I have heard there is no effective medical treatment in cats, some drugs have been tried in the past but most cats do not respond to them. Surgery to remove the affect adrenal glands is recommended. If pituitary these can be removed, but understandably the surgery is incredibly complex and not many vets will do this. I think there may be an option for radiation therapy, but again only a specialist centre may do this.

Yeah, that's what I read but I don't think we'd put him through an op so if he can have some drugs/homeopathic remedies to help I think that would be our route. He was shot in the jaw 2 years ago and the vets managed to repair his shattered jaw but he still has a pellet lodged in his spine. I think he's been through enough operations really
