Catago Mask sizes - L/XL?

I'm struggling to find out whether the full size in the Catago will fit a head that takes an x-full bridle, there are no sizings anywhere on the internet and the one shop I have spoken to doesn't really know other than to say that it is stretchy. Having said that the Fenwick do but is obviously more ££££'s and the measurements on their XL is an only just fit. Has anyone used either on a larger head please and if so how was the fit?

I found the xl fly mask version was a very tight fit on my xl bridle size horse, but he had a wide head (Ardennes cross)

I emailed Catago and the reply was to ask the retailer to order an XL. But when you look on Catago's website they only list s/m/l. I've ordered a much discounted Fenwick.

XL Fenwick with ears on a 16.1 hh ID x cob, who is in XL bridles but not by much. She loves it, but it is for therapeutic poll/TMJ warming purposes rather than spook busting.

Tiddlypom I'm also buying to try poll/tmj warming. Are you finding that it helps? I've ordered the one without ears, would I be better with one with ears? I may just have time to change the order before they post it out.

Yes, it definitely helps her, the chiro vet noticed it too.

I went for the hood with ears to get the maximum warming effect, but not sure how much extra benefit the ears give over the earless version, both types cover the poll/TMJ area.
