Yes big gulp!!!!!!!

Looks like a very promising bunch, if breeding is anything to go by!!!!!

Well using my powers of deduction.......... My 3 year old showjumping/dressage filly has qualified for the final Yahoooooooooooooo

My 3 year old Florencio stallion will have to wait until the results are through. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed.

With regards stabling for the Addington final, does anyone know if we will be able to get some, as the rule for Addington is that stables have to be booked 1 week in advance, and we won't have that. I will also be flying the day of the Catherston Futurity!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did speak briefly to Jan this morning and she said that there will be stabling available for those qualified if needed. I think she said £35.
After Catherston all those qualified will be rung with details apparantly.

Well bizarrely there are absolutely no showjumping foals at Catherston next week

- unless of course the evaluators make any swaps

So we're clinging on the bottom with a Corland colt foal being evaluated at Fountain today

Typical if we miss out as the enlarged growth plate that gave him such low vet marks at Arena UK has stabilised

I hope you hang in there ASM! We were worried beacuse there was only us in our age group for Sports Pony foals, but there is another one at Catherston. I hate the idea of going by default so I'm happier that theres another one now.

Hi CM - yes it's good there'll be another pony in your section. At last year's futurity I think we were the only eventing filly and I was really hoping at the time to compare her with others.

Even if we're not competing we'll certainly make the trip to watch so hope to meet some more HHOers there and for longer

My foal also got marked down on one of her vet marks for an inflamed growth plate on her knees, so she is on same mark as another in 4th at present.
Hopefully it will settle when she is weaned as they aren't being fed anything at present, must be rich milk.

Enlarged growthplates aren't usually a big long term worry provided they're monitored and the foal isn't being being packed with concentrates either directly or via the mare's milk. Usually indicative of a fast growing, larger foal, but of course an easy thing to spot and mark down on. Normally resolve happily in time as you say.

So hope you hang on in there and yours resolves asap and in time for the end of the month!

I think we might just possibly be through subject to any discipline changes at Catherston
