Ok so over this weekend I would have expected my cat to have spent time huddling in fear with all the fireworks going off... this goes to show how odd my fuzzball is... he spend three nights sitting in the window and meowing at the fireworks! he wasnt in any distress, and he was chsing them up the window and they flew higher, and meowing when they popped, banged or showered pretty sparkles everywhere! It was the cat equivalent of the 'ooooohh' 'aaaaahhhh' thing humans do lol Yet is he attacks a sock and it moves hes terrified!

So my question is... does anyone elses felines have odd habits? or is mine just missing a few brain cells...

he also likes to get in cupboards for no other reason than to sit in my pans ¬¬ he loves riding in the car, saying 'are we nearly there yet?' all the way but thoroughly enjoying himself!

Nah, mine is too busy being angry at me for not letting him out so is amusing himself by beating up the kitten and sitting dangerously close to the fire so as to panic me. He is actually smirking at me. Wee sh*** :p

Ollie hides for the first evening and then gets bored of not getting a reaction from us and acts normally therafter and Charlie looks around when he hears the first bang and then doesnt bother reacting again so all in all we have a happy household at this time of the year even though we are all camped out in the conservatory at the moment due to building works taking over the house :)

My cat in general is a pain all year round. He HATES doors that are closed, so he opens them all....wardrobes, drawers, kitchen cupboards, and then he climbs in and decides he doesn’t want anything in there with him, so chucks everything out, clothes, pots/pans, plates, cups….the list goes on, he’s worse than a naughty toddler. We have just moved, so haven’t had the chance to attach the child locks yet (for him, we don’t have children!) We have to literally watch him all the time, we have to know where he is every minute of the day because he causes so much havoc. In the night we have to wrap the duvet under our feet others wise he pounces on them (with claws and teeth!) and then once he’s bored of that he comes to the top of the bed and smacks you round the face...but I wouldn’t part with him for anything. Love him to bits!!
