Nez did a loverly test, but was slightly annoyed with all the bl**dy flys so had the odd moments shaking his head - I had them trying to get down my ears so sure he did to, poor bugger, so got a 38, he then did a smashing double clear - had 4.4 time as i took him slower where the ground was hard - feeling very protective now he is for sale

, he is so awesome at novice - all I have to do is point he just pings round like a proper pro. I will be gutted to see him go, but hes just not the same at Int and I dont want to ruin him by trying to get him to do it, I know he'd do one now and again happily, but not every time out! So he came 11th, really pleased but a little
frown.gif
as he was .4 off 10th !!
Moo was on flying form and saw no point in doing dressage - she did the opposite to everything I asked and managed to excel her self with a 45
blush.gif
, she was then a cow bag warming up for the s.j - in fact I managed to jump one fence then mum had to hold me so she didnt bury me
mad.gif
but she went in a jumped a amazing clear, she nearly jumped me off twice
shocked.gif
, much the same for the x.c - had to be lead over there jumped one x.c warm up fence then started leaping back the the lorry park, mum had to catch hold of her as she was on the move
blush.gif
then lead me over to the start and she started really well
grin.gif
she they flew round the x.c, didnt look at a thing just made it feel like a intro course, she was clear with 8.8 time - there were only 2 inside the time so was very pleased with her - and she pulled to the end so very
grin.gif
with that, and I am hoping the ON at Buckminster will settle her a little!!

Vibes for me please as I have managed to do my back - not sure how but it took me half an hour to get out of bed this am
mad.gif
so now waiting to go see me osteopath at half 8 tomorrow - hope to be ok to go see Di at 11 tomorrow for my jumping lesson, and feeling really mad about the 6 babies / breakers loosing a days work

What a great day - I remember fies were a problem at Catton last year.

I hope your back gets sorted, try a heating pad/baths and ibuprofen while you're waiting to see the osteo xx

Mmm we were thinking that that could have been the cause of it- bless her

Well done! My pony HATED the flies too! She was dreadful all day- so over sensitive!! Ruined our dressage for sure.
Wishing you a speedy recovery with your back... i've been there and its very painful!

Well done sorry to hear about your back I have found Voltaren Emulgel which is rubbed into the affected area really useful, its an anti inflamatory, but rather than taking tablets it can get to work on the affected area immediatly. Hope you are feeling better soon

Well done on your results, I went to Catton at the weekend to watch, it was fantastic day but even we noticed the flies. I took lots of photos on the cross country and saw quite a bit of the intermediate, what cross country colours do you ride in and what colour horse, if by some chance I've snapped you I'll post it.

I got you I think, just saw your Withington photos. If I'm right you were flying! I'm partial to a coloured anyway but she looked on top form, I think we saw you in the collecting ring for the showjumping as well. Fantastic horse, we're hoping to go to Knaptoft as well, only viewing again as my mare is 21 and I'm no longer up to it, will try and snap you again.
