Things had been being used up way too fast in my tack box, shampoo fly spray antiseptic ect, you know what I mean, ....
Well I had enough, so I found old fly spray bottle and mixed water and purple spray in it.... Left it on my tack box... And presto another livery has a horse with a lovely purple streak all down its neck!!!! It's a grey too!
Had my suspicions now I can have a word at weekend now, yo said she went bolistic last Monday when she used it thinking it was fly spray.. I had warned everyone not to use my stuff without asking, I mean last month a whole bottle of wahl shampoo for coloureds went in a few days, and my coloured was still au naturals and muddy... Sorted ...

LOL that's a great idea!
When I was younger, a pony I loaned, the lady used to have a locker to stop every one using her stuff, but that was on a big yard.
I don't know how people could just take other peoples stuff like that

Amazing!!! Some people at my yard had been stealing Ned's food (thankfully they've left now) and I was trying to think of some way to catch them in the act! Funnily enough, my food has stopped going down as fast now they've gone :P

Will remember this one in case we get any more thief's :P

Lol, how cheeky though that the thief went ballistic at the purple streak, shouldn't have been helping themselves then should they tsssk.

Well done you. We had a bloke on our yard who did this but he just took stuff and said it was his. One of our youngest girls saved her pocket money and brought some fly spray and I saw him take it and say it was his, young girl really upset. So when he left yard I emptied it out into a spare container and filled his bottle up with water and gave the spare one to the young girl. I got great pleasure seeing him spray his horse with water !!! I hate thieves.

Will let you know what she said once I see her weekend!!! I suspect she will either go all guns blazing " I thought you wouldn't mind ect " or will avoid me like I was contagious ! I had to sort out who it was cos in last two months I've gone through so much stuff and it only started when she came to yard mid feb. I've been there many years and never happened b4. I even took sons old toy box up and put a lock on it few days ago just to keep stuff safe, I mean few weeks ago my nearly new brushing boots were found in a bucket filthy and wet, I had not used them either... So I do hope it stops now. yO not too happy with her either she never cleans up after herself..

It never ceases to amaze me when people claim the moral high ground when they are clearly in the wrong... I'd give it back both barrels, personally!

ETA - now hte YO has proof she's stealing from other liveries, I'd hope she has a very strong wors with her.

Lol, I had an image of someone spraying it and then scrubbing their Horse like mad to rid the evidence :p

Great thinking! can't wait to hear what she says.

I heard a story of someone who had the contents of their sandwiches stolen from the office fridge - just the filling; the bread and butter was put back.

But my favourite attempted revenge was a friend who put blue food colouring in her milk in the yard fridge - but it still went missing!!!!
