Cavallo boots and velcro problem

i have had a pair of the simple cavallo boots for 2 weeks, but the velcro is now not sticky, i have brushed off any dirt, grass ect but the velcro is still not sticking, has anyone else had this problem,

Are you talking about the straps on the side or just generally the velcro on all parts of the boots, I have a pair that are 3 weeks old and the strap velcro is already as you say not sticky, I also have a 3 year old pair for my other horse and the strap velcro is absolutely fine, I wonder i its a bad batch of velcro, where did you buy them from?

yes the velcro on the 2 straps. i have spoken to the shop and they want me to send them back and they will check them but i have a youngster that can not go out without them so would be stuck in her box,

Perhaps it is a different batch/kind of velcro. Henry's cavallo's must be 4 years old now and the velcro is absolutely fine!

There is a tool you can get to clean velcro (or did I dream that?!?).

use a dog or cat slicker brush to clean the velcro much cheaper than a velcro brush and works just as good
