Anyone use this/have any opinions please?

I need to find something to replace current TB's feed as my metabolically challenged mare has stopped eating their base mix, hay cobs and finally chaff over last few months. She needs a bucket feed for meds and supplements and this looks ideal in terms of starch and sugar content and being gut kind. Just wondering if it's too good to be true?

I had a quick look and its not something I would want to feed. Despite being low starch and sugar it seems to contain cereals. Its also got soya oil in which is a bit of a grey area. Pink mash is similar but has better ingredients. Its the soya hull not oil and did wonders for mine with hind gut issues. I'd get a sample first though as some horses dont like it. Mine thought it was delicious!

Thanks for looking. On reflection if Fiberforce was a fantastic product everyone managing a metabolic horse would be raving about it. I will investigate pink mash, my only reservation being that I'm on full so need something that doesn't need any prep.

It does need soaking, but I used to chuck water in with it, make up feed and then walk round to give it to the horse, so a few minutes max. But you cant soak it hours in advance which might be an issue

Does the laminitis site have any info re feed for metabolic horses? I think it does if I remember rightly, so might be useful place to look for recommendations
