Cavan horse sales!

Hi,
After success at the Goresbridge Sales earlier this year I'm planning to go to the Cavan Sale in June to pick up something to bring on and do some eventing with over the summer n then sell on. Any advice with this sale as haven't been before? I plan to fly over n stay in a very close n cheap B&B - any recommendations? I have a very limited budget but hope to pick up a little bargain!

Go on their web site and you will get a list of the B and B's there are a couple quite close and they are all ok to stay in. You can also download the catalogue to browse before you go

yip would recommend cavan sales .. used to ride horses and ponies at it for my boss .

Clarke family are lovely, facilities super and everything very well run. Prices are way higher now than three or four years ago when you could pick up a nice horse as a project. We went to the last one and came back empty handed as they were going there for as much as would have sold for at home with the work put in.. Good luck - hope it's better than ours was!
