Guys, can you help me. My horse is coming back to me from his loan home (nothing to do with him) and I am debating about doing some showing with him this summer. However due to confidence issues I was planning to get someone else to ride him. He is 18.1 wb x shire. Do you think I am best aiming for HW hunter and as I am rubbish as conformation I thought I would ask you knowledable lot what you thought.
Person on board is D2 and pic was taken before he went and he was in a "soft" condition.

Oh he's lovely! You can see the shire in his confo, and he reminds me of my lovely shire x, who I'd owned for most of his (and my) life, who passed away last year at the grand old age of 33.

Thanks for the nice comments guys he is a real sweetie bless him. Hope someone can tell me if his confo is any good or not, it is the best side shot I have of him.

I show in hunter classes and he will probably be the biggest there but by gum, he is lovely and will do well.

his stand is lovely and square or as a judge might say "a leg in each corner". Good sloping shoulder from what I can see with a lovely arched neck with quite a small head for his type but very pretty! Slightly low set tail but that will be his breeding. I would never have guessed he was shirex.

I agree with tallyho! Definately hunter classes! And even in heavyweights he'll be one of the biggest in the class.

He looks stunning though. Get out there and give it a shot. He looks like he might do very well :)

Thanks for the feedback tallyho and others that's really useful. He does have quite a small head as his bridle is only a full. People expect him to be an x full lol.
