CC needed on my boy also in PG

CC needed on my boy know his bum is saggy but want to know if his weight is ok (off box rest) and anything else

wont take offence

Photos are far from the best for people to cc confo!You can certainly tell he has been on boxrest,he has no muscle at all!Do you feed hay from a net by any chance?I only ask as he is carrying plenty of weight across his middle but his neckline has dropped away considerably(i know he hasnt been worked but feeding from the floor will very often keep the topline of the neck a little more developed than his is?)
He is carrying enough weight to go into the winter

Ive not seen your earlier post as to why hes been on box rest and if its foot related, then sorry in advance but my first reaction was his feet. I know its not really CC but they look really boxy as if hes wearing high heels. Apart from that hes a lovely boy. I love black horses.

farrier has let me down for about 3 weeks now and hes due out on Wednesday/Tuesday just waiting for confirmation of this.

He goes back into work once sand school is sorted and ill hack him out more once shoes are done hes not that good in school so ill have to take it easy as he gets quite excited in there.

i thought about his muscle but i wasn't 100% sure

he has his hay in nets yes i will move it onto floor any suggestions on building muscle up again?

Try lunging in a chambon but only for a short time at first as it will be hard work for him. Sorry just remembered his box rest, I think before you start lunging plenty of hill work, trying to make him push from behind and not him pulling himself up from the front, like my boy does
