Well I have had a bit of an eventful weekend. But my old mare has given me some lovely moments. I gave her a flatwork session and then a quick pop. Just wanted to upload the video and some pictures on here to see what you thought. CC please on both her and I (Jumping Position ect.). Maybe some ideas on what needs working on would be very helpful

Excuse how big I look on her, shes only 14.1hh and 20 years old. I am beginning to feel huge on her!!

Very tidy! Somebody has been putting in alot of hard work I can see! You are very eventer style in your position! Well done, you have made a huge progress from the last photos you had posted xx

Looking good and I really don't think you look big on her at all - you make a nice pair.

I agree you look very eventer style than SJ - it looks like you were going very fast? Only thing I would say is you look to be hanging on to her mouth very hard and not giving much with your hands to allow her to really use her back but it is very hard just to judge from just a photo so I may be completely wrong!

i love your horse :O

your jumpings lovely and so is hers. in pictures 1and 3 you look slightly behind the point of balance but its hardly noticeable. and im jealous of the fact your looking through your horses ears in every one. something my head fails to do lol

Jumping position looks super, and you don't look too big on her really.

I think you need to give forward with your hands more though - really concentrate on pushing them up her neck.

I'm probably not qualified to comment

, but I disagree with the comment that you're hanging onto her head too much and should push your hands further up her neck. She doesn't look like she can/would stretch her neck forward any further and if you chuck your hands forward the result will, it seems to me, be a complete drop of the contact. One of my pet hates (and worst habits

) is dropping the contact over a fence.

I think you both look fab, and can't see anything I'd change... Just my twopennies worth
