She is lacking topline but that could be remedied.

In the top ridden photo she looked very bum high but not in any of the others.

My biggest concern would be her upright pasterns, particularly with her boxy off fore and the broken angle on her near fore.

Her shoulder looks good.

she does look really bum high in the ridden pic doesnt she?! she's 15.2hh 8yrs had a foal last year so just starting her ridden work again :)

Beautiful mare but something strange going on with her front offside hoof - the angle of the hoof to the ground looks a little strange in comparison to the near?

I think she looks really sweet and is a pretty little thing!

The only thing I have noticed which might be down to the camera angles is her right fore foot looks slightly boxy and her pastern looks to be at a different angle to the other? As I said it may be just the angle of the photos and the way she is standing so I apologise if this is not the case at all!

Also I love the colour of your top!

her foot is a little boxy but looks worse in the photos, she wouldnt stand still either so that probably doesnt help! my turquoise fleece was £9 in the robinsons sale! :) i think she's quite pretty (but im biased!) she is for sale... :)

how old is your horsie? very sweet and good in th back - the hooves seem to be the only thing of concern. You need to look into that as speaking from experience will cause you expensive limb problems in the long run. I also think you sit a tad too far forward but that is common...

Long back, really dislike her front feet (the angle is not symmetrical), toes out on right hind, and quite straight through the hock.

Think the feet can easily be sorted, so that's not really an issue. She's lacking topline - but that's neither here nor there because you've already said she's been out of work for a while. Think she is very pretty, and I look forward to more updates :)

she's 8, 9 this year, I havent had her long, she's been barefoot for at least 2 years (out of work) farrier is due next week so see what he suggests re: feet

The main thing about her that stands out to me is how long she is in her back. She is not carrying very much weight and as you have aid needs to build more muscle which hopefully will help improve her outline. Think she is a pretty girl though!

SJ Mad. She has a club foot. This is an interesting article about it.

If detected early, hoof trimming and the correction of underlying causes may improve the outcome once the horse reaches musculoseketal maturity. If the horse is already performing as a successful athlete, radical attempts to make the foot appear normal should be avoided.

I'd really worry about the feet & pasterns, especially for jumping. Would be a lot of concussion going through at unusual & uneven angles between the pair.

Nice pretty mare, I would be worried about her feet, does she look sound when trotted up ? Has that foot always been that shape ?

Iv only had her since january but knew her previous owners who had her for 2yrs, she's never been lame in that time, she's been back in work for approx 8 weeks
