Well I think you both look lovely - I especially like the praise and reassurance that you give him. :)

I guess the only thing I would suggest is that sometimes on the approach you look a little behind the movement as though you might be expecting a stop or something.

He or she is gorgeous! I think you match really well together.

I don't really know what I'm talking about, but the only negative thing I thought was that at times you seemed slightly behind the movement, but I might be totally wrong! :o

You make a lovely pair! :)

Fabulous, you are going have a summer of fun.

A bit more flat work would help you control his shoulders more, get him a little up and off his shoulder. Transitions and more transitions both from pace to pace and within the pace. This will help his balance in front of the fence and allow you to be more in balance too. A little leg yield will help with shoulder positioning too.

Try to feel when he gets disunited and make the correction with a quiet circle and re-balance. As his balance gets more established he will stop going disunited.

You both look like a real happy partnership, good luck with everything you do.

Might be wrong (apologies if I am), but you seem to be looking down to check your leg on landing - look up! :)
(I used to do it to, had my RI shouting look up! when I jumped, found that he usually landed on the correct leg when I looked up, as I was putting him off balance looking down.)

Your boy looks lovely and you look like a great partnership. :)

I think you both look fab :) I'd agree with the previous two posts ^^ you're a bit behind him so sometimes (especially the second element of your doubles) you're getting him in the mouth as he jumps. Is he prone to stopping/running out? You look as though you're riding quite 'defensively' and anticipating a stop which looks as though it's stopping you from 'taking off' with him?

I kept thinking as I was watching WOW look how much grass you've got lol :o but your horse is gorgeous and the amount of praise you gave him was fab, well done and well sat at around 55s :p xxxxxxx

Thanks everyone very helpfull!

Had a bit of a problem with him earlier this year refusing, hence why I've got into the bad habits and not trusting him good job he's so honest!

Firstly what a gorgeous boy!
I thought you rode him very nicely, I really liked the way you praised him after he did a nice jump, you obviously have a very close bond :)
I agree with the others about making sure you are in time with him as you go over the fence. Sometimes it looks a little like you rush towards the fence then he backs off it creating the awkward moment when you're not sure when exactly he's going to take off. I have the same trouble with a horse I ride who is a really nervous jumper and use to stop all the time, which caused me to then back off him, which caused him to stop even more! The best thing you can do is to just ride really positively, find your stride then push for it...that way both you and the horse (should in theory!) be in unison and have a much better rhythm.
Overall very nice though, keep us updated with lots more pics/video's with how you get on :)

Thanks helpfull will bare that in mind :) hehe we aren't doing that much due to A levels hopefully be out eventing, showing, hunter trials and some sj over the summer :D

He is a lovely chap, beautiful :)

please do remember to give with your hands when you jump, hands towards the ears, you can get away with it to a certain extent with these jumps but when they get bigger he really will need to stretch his head and neck.
