Cctv and security around the yard

I have a small yard and two horses on it. Lately there has been a lot of break ins around my area and the other night mine took was broken into, not only that whoever it was tried to set my caravan on fire. The police have advised to try and get some kind of cctv as there is not a lot they can do if no one has seen them.
I'm wanting some reccomendations of cctv. The thing is I have no mains electric and struggling with what to get. I'm really worried and want to keep an eye on my ponies but carnt be there 24hours a day.
Ideally o would like something that would send a message to my phone to alert me. Has anyone got anything like this that is run via solar or batteries? TIA
 
You can get wildlife cameras that will send a photo to your phone when they're triggered. I have one. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work. But, they are out there. Hopefully someone more helpful will come along.
