I have an old Swann CCTV system set up in my stables/yard, but could do with updating it to obtain better images. It has 7 cameras and a DVR.
I have mains power, and a cat6 cable, so hard-wired into my router. Obviously need to be waterproof etc, and good night vision with no lights on (do I need infra red, or will night-vision work?)
Any up to date recommendations?
It also needs to be very easy to install (idiot proof?!), I need 8 cameras , and ability to access images on laptop/tablet/phone.
Currently I don't have audio or zoom/pan...but might be useful?
