Not a great photo but I am so incredibly proud of this little lad tonight.

I had today off work and we planned a pub trip with Bertie who has been several times but not in a long time and was perfect each time, I walked with my neighbour and her puppy (same age) to the hunt meet this morning and he hated it, totally freaked out so we left and I decided not to add a pub trip to his day, took Ceci instead.
Bearing in mind he’s not been in ages either and isn’t used to children, it was packed and there were two little kids, 4 and 2 who took a shine to him.
I kept a VERY close eye on his body language incase but he was a willing recipient of fuss and his tail kept wagging. Even when the littlest got “over tired” and a bit over mad he was as good as gold.
He met black dogs ( black dogs are the work of the devil)
I’m just ridiculously impressed at him. What a star.
Photos were hard to get as I was on constant alert incase he did just suddenly have enough but this is him sat on the window after the little people had vacated.

Super Cec🥰🥰

He looks adorable.
Thank you! He really is but isn’t used to little people and when you don’t have any of your own it’s difficult to get them used to anything like that. I didn’t really know how he’d react. He had met kids a few times but always friends who had their own dogs and so were used to them and were told to be gentle.
