I live about 17 miles from the event, so far the last wet spell we had was last thurs/fri night. Its been warm i reckon the ground should be ideal, however i will have probably just tempted fate!
Good oh, was a bit worried as still no sections up on the BDWP site. We are competing both days. OH in the Intro on Sat & I am doing the AI (!!) on the Sunday. Fingers crossed for a drier time than we had there last year.
I'm going to cheerlead for my friend in the intro on Sunday. Fingers crossed it stays dry, my friend had a rotational fall last year (although clear at Scone(1) this year) so is hoping for perfect going!
It's not a 1st time intro, but a nice course, pretty flat only one wee hill near the start.
As I said they always work hard on the ground. May's included a trekahner, saw bench, carrot box, sunken road thingy(!) ditch/palisade, corner. Water is roll top, stride or 2 splash in roll top out.
Thanks everyone for the info. Seemed a lovely course when i walked it, just a shame horsey didnt think the same thing. Ill definitely be back to try again next year.
