I am a bit neive when it comes to pricing but this foal seems really quite expensive particularly in the current economic climate - or am I totally wrong???? Do people still pay sooo much for an unproven foal?

I think he is rather overpriced unless his dam is a proven competition horse.
He is a sweet foal but he hasn't got my idea of perfect conformation, so to me yes he is too much money in todays climate.

Yes that's what I thought. Surely you'd mention in ad if the dam had a superb comp or breeding record. IMO a sire alone cannot 'make' for an expensive offspring. Plus so much can go wrong between weaning and maturity! I'd be scared to invest soooo much on something soooo young. No wonder some people wrap their youngsters in cotton-wool!!!
