Hello,
I need a new riding hat. I’ve always had champions but I can no longer find the smooth finish peeked champion hats that are fixed size. I do not like the dial ones as I find them uncomfortable.
No tack shops near me stock anything apart from adjustable hats or Charles ownen (which do not fit my head at all!)
I am looking at buying a gatehouse but the only one I’ve been able to try on is a skull cap. I’m normally a 55cm in Champion but the 56cm gatehouse skullcap fit me well. So my questions are:
Do gatehouse skullcaps come up a similar size to their peaked or are they more like the champion peeked in size?
Also do the gatehouse peaked have a similar head shape to the champion peeked?
I hate the fact I have to buy the hat online without getting it properly fitted so any advice would be amazing!
